Recently, I was tree stump grinding at Blackmore End, Wethersfield, Hedingham, Essex.
However, this job was slightly different from the regular stump grinding jobs I carry out. There was a large area of smallish tree stumps that were scattered around a very old hedge line. The hedge had become overgrown and was full of bramble and various other unwanted creeping plants. Everything had been cleared by the tree surgeon except the tree stumps.
The area was about 100 feet long by 20 feet wide. All the tree stumps and roots were removed. Rather than just removing the tree stumps individually, I went over the whole area with the stump grinder to ensure no small tree roots were left. The area is going to be grass seeded.
The soil was quite light and dry, so be easy for the landscaper to level off the ground and see the area. At the stump grinder has almost rotavatored the ground, which will make it a relatively straightforward job for the landscaper. A new laurel hedge will also be planted which will follow an existing hedge.
You can see in the photographs the area before the tree stumps were removed and after I had swept across the whole area with the stump grinder.
I’m here to help with all your tree stump removals.
